True Blood season 4 review - Let's get out of here

We're up to episode nine, meaning after this episode we're into the final leg of the show, which means that the tension should be building continually from this point into the finale.  I have the distinct feeling that isn't going to happen, however, because as much as I love Fiona Shaw, Aunt Petunia aka Marni/Antonia isn't Russell Edington.  He was a terrific villain for season 3 and so far, season 4, dramatically speaking, just isn't shaping up.

True Blood season 4 review - Spellbound

*Sigh*  We've reached the part of the part of the season where I know that this isn't going to be a great season.  This marks the 8th episode, two thirds down, four episodes to go and turn it around, I'm not sure they're going to manage it, but there's no use putting it off, it's time to dive in.

Warning, contains episode and book series spoilers

True Blood season 4 review - I Wish I Was the Moon

Normally I'd be all excited about this week's episode of True Blood, but I'm waiting for a confirmation email for Pottermore and that's totally got my attention this morning, as well as still coming down from the Thundercats series relaunch.

Warning, will contain spoilers for both the episode and the book series if appropriate

True Blood season 4 review - Me and the Devil

It's the time of the week where I sit at my laptop, load up the latest episode of True Blood and agonise over whether or not it did the book justice.  Plenty of other reviewers deal in the plot of the episode, I deal with the reactions to what's happening from a book readers perspective.  Just because I'm a fanatical fan of the books and no one else seems to do this.

Warning, this review contains spoilers for both the episode and the entire book series where applicable.

True Blood season 4 review - I'm Alive and On Fire

Monday, Monday, so good to me.  It gives me Leverage, True Blood and Linkara, but today we're just here to see what happens as a Southern Vampire Mysteries fanatic watches the latest episode of True Blood.

Warning, spoilers for both the episode and entire book series where appropriate

True Blood season 4 review - You Smell like Dinner

Another week, another episode, it's time for my blow by blow account of episode 2 of season 4, I'm not as excited as last week after the wtfuckery, so I've lined up Leverage for afters in case I need cheering up.

A remind, this review will contain spoilers for both the tv show and the books if it is appropriate to mention.
