Terror Toys Season Overview
This is a spoiler free overview of Terror Toys Season, containing a short summary of each film with their marks out of 10 posted along side. This is so you can take a look and decide if you want to see the film for yourself without reading the spoilers in the main reviews. If I watch any additional Terror Toys movies in the future, I will add them to this list. Movies will be listed worst to best.

Child's Play 3 - Terror Toys Season
Released only 9 months after after Child's Play 2 in 1991 and had a tag line of "Look Who's Stalking!" This is the one which was very controversial here in the UK after the James Bulger case, and even though later it was proved to have no connection the damage had already been done and a lot of shops and video rental places voluntarily removed the title from their shelves.

Dolly Dearest - Terror Toys Season
This is one of those movies that even when you're doing the basic research (avoiding spoilers of course), you suspect that it might not be great. Filmed over the course of a month in 1990, Dolly Dearest was released straight to video in 1992. According to the wiki blurb at the top of the page it stars Rip Torn and Denise Crosby and I'm guessing it was only the Next Gen fans who bought this film on that basis.

Child's Play 2 - Terror Toys Season
Child's Play 2 was released in 1990, two years after the original film. It did well in terms of box office revenue and was received well by fans. Alex Vincent returns as Andy and Brad Dourif returns as the voice of Chucky, as far as I am aware from the blurb at the top of wikipedia, they are the only returning cast members, but this was the film which sparked a huge merchandise push for the franchise.

Demonic Toys - Terror Toys Season
1992 was the year that this straight-to-video film was released under the banner of Full Moon Entertainment. Charles Band the producer, who I suspect has issues looking at the list of films he's been involved with, was also the producer of Puppet Master and Dollman, which I sadly couldn't get a copy of. It did well enough to warrant a sequel and two crossovers, Demonic Toys 2: Personal Demons, Dollman vs Demonic Toys and Puppet Master vs Demonic toys. There was also a collector card set and four issue comic book tie-in.

Puppet Master - Terror Toys Season
Originally intended to be released in cinemas during the summer, writer/producer Charles Band felt it would make more money on the home video market and so Puppet Master was released straight to video in October 1988. The film did well and nine sequels followed along with talks of a remake, which has yet to come to anything.

Child's Play - Terror Toys Season
Child's Play, the first film of the famous "Chucky Franchise", was released in 1988 and managed to make back about 4 times it's budget, even with controversy surrounding it. It stars the voice talent of the insanely underrated Brad Dourif and now has a strong cult following with merchandise still being produced 23 years after the original film was released.
